The Housing of Medical Emergencies, fondly called the HoME, is run by the Assistance League of Downey. This modest facility located two blocks from Rancho Los Amigos provides Robocamp attendees and their parent/guardian escort with convenient access to rehabilitation interventions. It includes a common area lounge for relaxing, reading, and watching your favorite television program. Free WiFi provided in the common area lounge only. Includes a BBQ area and community laundry facility (requires quarters to operate washer and dryer). Transportation to and from the rehabilitation center is provided by Robocamp organizers. No alcohol allowed on the premises. Rooms include air conditioning, microwave, coffee maker, sink, and small refrigerator. In-room television includes DVD player.
