Participate in Research
The primary objective of The Brain Recovery Project is to initiate and fund research that helps children reach their full potential following hemispherectomy surgery. Published research studies are critical not only to better understand outcomes, but to help parents received third-party payments for therapies from insurance companies, state agencies, and school districts. Such research, however, cannot be done without full participation from the hemispherectomy community as well as the world’s top research institutions. Research may be as simple as participating in an online study, or might include traveling to a research institution for a therapy camp or brain imaging.
